WHERE DO WE EVEN START? New Zealand mountain climber Sir Edmund Hillary is the subject of one of Hillary Clinton's most ridiculous lies; unless you're one of the morons that believes she's incapable of lying. Sometimes the measure of a truly unbelievable liar is that they begin to tell lies about topics that make no sense and seem otherwise irrelevant. This is one. Christopher Hitchens marveled at one point that Hillary Clinton had lied about the fact that she was named after Sir Edmund Hillary (1919-2008) of New Zealand, the first westerner to scale Mount Everest in 1953. The lie falls apart on even the most elementary inspection: Hillary Rodham was born on Oct. 26, 1947 in Chicago, Ill, the expedition to scale Everest started in March 1953 and reached the summit on May 28 of that year. The news media is gnashing its teeth in glee as the Republican Party tears itself apart and then tries to sew itself back together over Donald Trump. In the first part of this article, I began to explore the issue that should be on the mouths of millions of Americans. The Democratic Party has been in power for eight years, yet apparently there was only ever one person capable of being its next leader. That's not the way it usually works in a party that claims to represent everyone. I postulated that it was not ONLY the corruption of the process that allowed Hillary Clinton to reach the top. I wrote Part I on Sept. 28 and gave Shimon Peres the due courtesy of respectfully honouring his memory, but in my second part I will dispense with that notion, as it's no longer necessary.
